Somehow, this afternoon I got slightly sidetracked.
I first of all discovered Google Pagespeed, which is a great plugin for Firebug that helps developers optimise their websites. That led me to trying it out on this very page and shock horror, the old lpb bloggyblog wasn’t very optimised. So, a further Google led me onto W3 Total Cache. This is a fantastically indepth solution for those of us using WordPress who’d like to have a slightly speedier beast running, particularly handy if you’ve got a high-traffic site (which, i hate to say, this isn’t!).
There’s little more I can say about it that they don’t on their own page, but seriously worth checking it out if you’re running a WordPress site.
